I'm the opposite of you guys. I currently live in West Texas, I used to live on Long Island (In other words I moved from NY to Texas to marry a Texan).
I came to this site here hoping there was events here in Texas, but alas nothing, not even in Houston, Dallas or Austin (Even though they are to far for me to travel anyway)..
Edit..I see Dallas is listed but nothing happening...
