Hi guys! Still recovering from all that partying this week? I know I am. In
fact, I'm still in a bit of a daze. Thanks to everyone who came out to our New
Year's Day brunch! I think we overwhelmed the restaurant a bit, but we had a
great time anyway! I love when we take over entire restaurants like that. Then
people can get up, walk around and talk to people at other tables. Heck, feel
free to do that anyway :-)
We have some great events coming up!
1) Sunday Brunch @ Ike - 2:00 pm - 6th street and 2nd Avenue. Ike is good &
faithful to us. They always come through and the food is always great. I
recommend the twin mini-burgers or the Ike Breakfast Sandwich. And don't forget
the tator-tots! $20, including your meal, tax and tip. Login & RSVP!
2) Monday Indian Feast @ Goa - 7:30 pm - 6th Street between 1st and 2nd Aves.
This is another Lunch Club traditional favorite where we feast like kings and
queens on the delights of India! We do this once a month or so cuz it's always
a winner. Details are posted in Events. $25 including your meal, soda, tax &
tip. Login & RSVP!
3) Sunday, January 11th - Mark your calendars. We'll be having a very special
guest at The Lunch Club that day: Craig Newmark, the Founder of Craigslist.
It's gonna be a huge one and you don't want to miss it. We'll have another
Chinese feast like we had on Christmas Day. Details are posted so login & RSVP.
More events will be posted in the coming days and Thalia is back so she'll be
cooking up some good stuff too! Stay tuned & see you on Sunday AND Monday!
