Hi all!

On Sunday, January 11th, The Lunch Club will have a very special guest:

Craig Newmark, the founder of Craigslist

Craigslist has become very widely known and is utilized by tons and tons of
people. It serves a real, practical, every-day purpose unlike any website I have
ever seen or used. Certainly, The Lunch Club would not have been possible if it
were not for Craigslist. Neither would thousands of other endeavors. It?s the
communications tool of the new millennium and it needs no further explanation
here since the majority of our members came to The Lunch Club through it. :-)

But who is this Craig whose list we all know and use? Who is the man behind the
server? Believe it or not, he?s a real guy. And he?s coming to New York next
week! Craig has known about The Lunch Club since shortly after it began and I?ve
had the pleasure of communicating with him on and off since that time. I
suggested he come check out our club and he?s agreed.

Sunday, January 11th @ 2:00 pm, he?ll be paying us a visit. We?ll be going back
to The Cottage at Gramercy Chinese restaurant where we were on Christmas (16th
street & Irving Place). It?s going to be a ?Meet & Greet Craig? lunch. He?ll be
saying hello to everyone and even taking some questions!

It?ll be a huge Chinese feast just like we had on Christmas day, with an
appetizer buffet and sit-down entrees. There will be tons and tons of food (soda
included). Of course, it?ll be Lunch Club as usual and you?ll have plenty of
time to mingle and chat with new friends. As always, you will be introduced!

The price will be $25, including your meal, tax & tip. Please RSVP because space
is limited and it's gonna fill up :-)

There will be no Wednesday Lunch this week, but it will resume the following
week. There might be a happy hour this Friday evening too...I'm waiting on
confirmation. See you soon!
