Hey guys!
Sorry for all these emails! It's been a busy week, what with Mr. Craig Newmark
coming to town :-) I just spoke to Craig and he's looking forward to meeting
everyone Sunday and Tuesday. Both "Meet Craig" events are completely full (and
are shaping up to be the two biggest Lunch Club gatherings ever). The place is
called The Cottage and is at 16th street & Irving Place. Sunday @ 2:00, Tuesday
@ 8:30 pm. Please bring $25 exact change :-) And please bring digital cameras!
We will have the list of people who have signed up and everyone will be checked
in at the door. However, because of the high demand for space at these
gatherings, we cannot hold your spot after 15 minutes. So please be sure you
are on time!
Now the news!
Because of our little growth spurt, we'll be reconstructing our "virtual
clubhouse" over the coming weeks and adding some great new features! :-) For
now, we'll be using our old-school Event Registration system. It's baaaack (well
for a few weeks anyway). Notice the E-Events subway logo where L-Login used to
be. Both "Meet Craig" events are up there and more are coming soon! Please
make use of our Message Board to keep in touch with people you meet at our
gatherings. Sorry about the inconvenience and we will have a brand new &
improved virtual clubhouse very soon!
Time for a little growing! :-) I'm looking forward to improving the way we do
things! Actually, you can help us out if you want. We created a "New Virtual
Clubhouse Suggestions" forum on our Message Board. Please take some time to
submit your ideas for improvements there. Thanks!
