Hey all you Dublin people! Thanks for your interest in being on the Dublin Lunch Club Committee!
I am thinking I'd like to create a Dublin Committee, kind of like we have in London, where multiple people are working together to plan events so the responsibility does not rest on just one person, and the club benefits from multiple planning perspectives. What do you guys think? I've set up a thread in the Dublin forum here to discuss how things might work in the future for the Dublin Chapter. Please do contribute your ideas and feedback!
Right now, we have the following positions open - and if you'd like to be a part of things, let me know!
Co-Chairpersons: There will be 2 chairpersons that will be responsible for overall management of the Dublin Committee - sort of like the joint chiefs of staff ;-) You'll be holding regular committee meetings, overseeing the calendar, member relations and the like.
Four event planners: If you're social, outgoing, full of great ideas and want to help plan all kinds of gatherings that build community, consider joining the Event Planning group - here is where you can contribute all of your ideas and see them come to pass, and create all kinds of opportunities for people to meet each other and make new connections.
Please email me if you're interested in getting involved, and I will tell you more about the positions and compensation, etc.
I'm looking forward to creating a robust, active Dublin Chapter - and together, I know we can do it! Thanks for your involvement in the club, and stay tuned for details on how things shape up.
Best wishes,
jared

Hello Jared/All
I would love to be a part of the Dulbin Committee, as and event planner preferably, but if you are in need of a chair, I'm happy to (and have experience in both) do either.
looking forward to Saturday,
Carol

Right now, I am looking to appoint two Co-Chairs of the Dublin Lunch Club who will basically be responsible for building the event committee and overseeing the day to day doings of the Dublin chapter. If you'd be interested in getting involved as a committee Co-Chair, please email me. Ideally, you'd have lots of room in your life for something like this. If you're creative, full of energy, extremely social and have lots of great ideas for fun events, I'd like to hear from you.jared

Hi Jared,
The co-Chairs sounds interesting. from your experience how many hours per week do you spent on the C0-chair.
Thanks
