I was walking by Bryant Park at lunchtime today. The weather was nice, and hundreds of people were sitting out at tables on the grass enjoying lunch and the weather. Sadly many of them were eating alone, which we all know is boring… so I thought it would be a great promotion for the lunch club to go out there one day when the weather is nice, put together some tables, and welcome all the lonely lunch eaters to join the club and bring their lunch to the tables. It’s probably easiest if everyone brings their own lunch, since the amount of attendees is unpredictable and the people in the park will have bought lunch already.

I work in the area too and would love to see more events take place in midtown, especially since I live in Jersey.
