Hi guys - we have a last minute location change for Thursday: 30-Somethings Happy Hour! (8/3) - The reason being that Bar Nine is having a problem with their air conditioning, and we simply cannot have that.

NEW LOCATION:

Kabin Bar & Lounge - 2nd Avenue between 5th and 6th street - very close to Astor place 6 train, and also the F train at 2nd avenue. We'll be in the private back lounge. Just come into the bar, head all the way to the back and go through the doors on the left side into the lounge. 7:00 pm. Here is the updated event post:

I will send another reminder about the location change tomorrow. Sorry to do this, but Bar Nine is just too hot for us!

Hi Mike, well tonight we have a private lounge, so we can control the music - will make sure it's very low. I understand your frustration! I am a deaf rock drummer...

Well, I was definitely at the right location. Because I was one of the lucky people to stand right under one of the air conditioning events most of the time. Anybody else feel so fortunate?
