Does Anyone Enjoy live music?
I got to see new bands play at least once a week and would love for people to come out ...

What sort of live music? I've been meaning to check out the Sculpture Garden (http://www.nga.gov/feature/sculpturegarden/general/index.shtm) for their Live Jazz. From the site:

Sounds like a great idea, Randy. Don't know if there are any other 'burbanites from Reston on here, but Lake Anne has regular live performances on Thursday evenings (7pm, if I remember correctly). Heard one while I was chillin' at the coffee shop there a few weeks ago; good stuff.

For live music out in the burbs, Bangkok Blues in Falls Church is great, and also has excellent Thai food.

I've always wanted to check out Bangkok Blues. Great reviews and a great looking menu.

Time is running out to enjoy the live jazz in the DC sculpture garden (http://www.nga.gov/programs/jazz.htm), so a group of us have decided to go this Friday and check it out. This gives us a chance for another try if things don't work out. If you want to join us please post here so others know that you're going. Maybe we can get a huge group together. Hope to see a few of you there!

Awesome. I'm ALL over the live music scene...can't get enough of it. Iota and Jammin' Java are 2 of my favs in Virginia. If you like jazz, Twins and HR57 in DC are great. Also, though not live, check out the basement at Cafe St. Ex on Wednesdays nights for a jazz happy hour with a dj spinning very cool stuff...
