Probably a stupid question - but I'm a Dublin, Ireland member who will be in NYC that weekend. This looks like a great laugh - and a good idea for a touristy venture for someone like me who hasn't been around Central Park much. Can I attend by RSVPing as normal - or do NYC members have a different way of being 'members' etc.

Hey there, and thank you for registering for The Great Central Park Photo Scavenger Hunt '06, Saturday - October 14th! We're going to have an awesome time - and you're going to find yourself in lots of zany, crazy situations that you'll capture on camera! Not only will we have a great hunt, but afterward we're going to have an awesome party with loads of food, drink specials and prizes for the winning team!

This is our first communication about the Scavenger Hunt in a while so first of all, I want to be sure you're still coming! If you do not plan to attend, please go now and cancel you RSVP on the event posting (http://www.thelunchclub.com/clubhouse/lc_event_detail.php?mode=detail&id=707)! It's very important that we have an accurate number.

We have 100 spots total, between The Lunch Club and Central Park.com and right now we're very close to being sold out. So, if you are coming, we need you to take a moment and please prepay for your spot(s). Just login and click the Pay Now button in the event posting (http://www.thelunchclub.com/clubhouse/lc_event_detail.php?mode=detail&id=707). Once we are sold out, we'll close the event and it will no longer be possible to register. You can pay for guests too by selecting the number of people IN ADDITION to yourself.

Digital Camera - If you have a digital camera, bring it! This is a photo scavenger hunt, and you'll be taking pictures of every clue along the way. If you don't have a digital camera, that's OK - we can team you up with others who do. But it's very important to bring your camera if you have one, so we can be sure we have enough cameras for each team!

Team Assignments - Each team will have 5 or 6 members. You can either come with 4 or 5 of your friends and be a pre-formed team, or we can randomly assign you to a team. If you'd like to be on a team with someone in particular, please plan to arrive and register at the same time in order to facilitate the process. Otherwise, teams will be randomly comprised.

Registration: Registration will take place between 12:30 and 1:00 pm. Please arrive during this time slot. We're going to have a lot of people to register, so it's important that you come on time so we can properly manage everything. After 1:00, registration will be closed.

Location: We will be meeting at Dive Bar, which is located on Amsterdam & 96th street. This is where the hunt both begins and ends.

Dress: Please dress comfortably and be prepared to do lots of walking around Central Park. Please do NOT bring valuables or bags because there will be no place to store or leave them while you are in the midst of the hunt. We cannot take responsibility for your bags or belongings. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Duration: After registration, orientation will begin. We anticipate this to last about 30 minutes. Then, we'll give the teams time to gather and discuss their strategies. The hunt itself will begin around 1:45. You must be back at the Dive Bar by 4:30! Each minute you are late will cost your team 1 point. It will take about an hour to gather everyone's pictures and determine the winner. In the meantime, we party and enjoy a buffet and lots of drinks! The winner will be declared around 5:30. At that point, it's just a party all night!

The hunt will go on, RAIN OR SHINE!
