After over 100 people attending the initial event, there now only seems to be a handful of people signing up to events.Surely not a case of overkill already? Can anyone shed some light on this? There seems to be lots on in N.Y.C.-is it acase of British reserve or are events too pricey?
Comments anyone?

I've been to two, and still interested in more. But sometimes there's other stuff, which is a good thing too.

I havent been to any i read about it on the metro and decided to give it a Try. I would say probably a matter of Overkill. 100 is a huge number its always better to have smaller groups so that people can get to know each other better.

Hellooooooooo! We're over here!

Well, the lunch club certainly gets the thumbs up from me - certainly if the hangover I had on Sunday morning is anything to go by!

Fabulous food and even fabulouserer company (its a word!). We went for a sumptuous meal at La Cafe du Jardin, after which a smaller contingent decided to find a bar. Things got a little bit out of hand when the honourary lunch club of Swansea decided to join us for a few drinks and some singing and before I knew what had happened it was around four in the morning and I was tucking into a kebab.

Big thanks to Ashna for arranging it all.

Sooty, hopefully not a case of overkill - I've only just joined! There were a lot of new people at the event on Saturday and there appear to be some varied events being organised. I guess it will just take a period of evolutionary growth as the team work out which events are popular, which ones are not, and how best to build momentum and publicity...
