View Full Version : Why is the moon larger sometimes?

Sometimes when it’s low on the horizon, it can get very large and yellow.

I’ve been pondering this question for years and it seems like the greatest scientists don’t have a rational answer.
It is peculiar that astronomers should know so little about the moon, which again raises the question if we ever really went to the moon.

Is there something supernatural going on here? Does this belong for astrologers?

Actually, the apparent difference in the size of the moon is just an illusion. The mind's perception plays tricks on you.
