I like to proclaim myself the "king of useless trivia". But I never have the time to indulge in this hobby of mine so my trivia skills have been kind of rusty lately. The end of my winning streak in Cranium at the last game night brought me back down to earth. So back to square one. If anyone here wants to go any trivia nights with me sometime, just give me a shout out. I know of a few places that host them on a regular basis.

Hey Ramon, why don't you be the captain of our trivia team? :-) Find out when there is a tournament and we will make an official event out of it!

I went a couple of times in a place in the Village - Baggot Inn, is that the name? - and they were fun, but boy, I felt like my trivia skills were not what I thought they were! Still I'm in, wherever you pick.

yea me and ramon went to baggot inn once... we won last place.. but i think it was cause of my handwriting.. cuase i know we scored more points than they said we did.. but we did win some useless stuff (almost as useless as the trivia itself) for coming in last

Always seems to get more competitive and idiotic the drunker you get. I'm a big fan of drinking Trivial Pursuit. The last 20 years edition is tons of fun, but I'll tell you, for an English major, I know crapola about novels in the last 20 years.

Or at least the ones they ask you about in that version...

Like others, I too can tear up a good trivia game. Jeopardy has taught me well. In any event, I think I would like to challenge everyone with a little trivia myself. I'll start easy, but as we progress, I'll make them harder. Here we go:

What is the last name of the family depicted in the movie,"The Sound of Music"?

Good luck!

Here's another:

Who (or which company) made the board game Battleship?

Good Luck!
